Spice Up Winter with Liefmans Gluhkriek

December 2010

GluhkriekAt this time of year, we're all looking for a tipple to warm the cockles and on a cold winter's evening, what could be better than a cup of hot Glühwein?

Easy - a glass Liefmans Gluhkriek!

A beautifully spiced version of the famous kriek, Liefmans Gluhkriek is a Lambic beer best served warm (not too hot) which allows the strong, sweet and sour flavours of the cherries to penetrate and embrace you in it's arms!

It pours a reddish-amber colour and any noticeable head quickly makes way for a spicy aroma to leap forward. With cinnamon and clove providing lingering tangy spiciness on the tongue, it's an ideal accompaniment to a classic Christmas Pudding, rich fruit cake or traditional mince pies.

Liefmans Gluhkriek (6.5% abv) is available in 12 x 75cl bottles.
