Lindemans

Southwest of Brussels, in the quiet Belgian town of Vlezenbeek, the Lindemans family has been farming and homebrewing as long as anyone can remember, with commercial brewing commencing in 1811 in their
barn-like brewery.

Lambic, or spontaneously fermented beers, are among
the world’s rarest. Produced more like a 'methode champenoise' champagne than a typical beer, these products mature in oak for nearly two years prior to release.

Lindemans Apple

Clean, bright aroma and flavour of apples melds beautifully with the complex tartness of lambic. Smooth, light body with the fresh flavor of real apples and a light green-apple tartness.

Fiefmans Framboise

Framboise is Brussels' summer drink - further fermentation of lambic blends is created by addition of raspberries. Framboise has a huge bouquet and makes a delicate aperitif.

Lindemans Kriek

Cherries, local to the area surrounding the brewery, give a pronounced flavour and almondy dryness. A sharp but not sour commercial filtered kriek to quench a summer thirst.

Lindemans Pecheresse

A sweet, light, very heavily peach scented and tasting lambic beer.

Lindemans Cassis

Light in alcohol, a sweet and blackcurrant flavoured lambic beer.

Lindemans Faro

In the mid 1800's the most popular brew in the Brussels area was faro. With the base lambic being very tart, the beer is sweetened with the addition of candy sugar and caramel.

Trade customers can order Lindemans Faro and fruit beers by calling UK importer James Clay on 01422 377 560.
