Burning Sky’s philosophy is a brewer’s dream. Combining uncompromising hop-centric pales, and historic Belgian ales. Taking the best of beer and using it as inspiration for something totally new.

Rather than squatting in a soulless industrial estate warehouse, the brewery took up residence in a refurbished farmhouse in the beautiful South Downs. And they were quick off the mark. After brewing their first beer in August 2013, they were voted ‘Brewer of the Year’ by the Guild of British Beer Writers, and fourth Best New Brewery in the World by Ratebeer.

Though their farmhouse home might seem sleepy and traditional, Burning Sky never sit on their laurels. They were the first craft brewery in the UK to install oak foudres for ageing beers, and their Grade II listed building has come to encompass a barrel ageing programme and a bespoke coolship for spontaneously fermented beers. New and old, all under one roof.
