Canadian Showcase

30 July 2025

Canadian Header

We're proud to present another selection of Canadian breweries and beers, building on last year's success to add even more stock, and look even wider to bring in another globally recognised brewery.

This showcase covers a spread of some of North America's most forward thinking breweries, encompassing the entire beer spectrum; bright and clean lagers, hazy hop forward beers, adjunct heavy sours, mixed fermentation mastery, and even a whole new category of beverage too.

Bellwoods Jelly King

The Canadian Classic is back. Bellwoods' famous Dry Hopped Sour has been on the go for well over a decade, becoming a North American beer icon in that time.

Soured with their house culture of a blend of five different lactobacillus strains Jelly King harnesses the power of lactic acidity to amplify the aromatic varieties used in the dry hopping.

Bellwoods take this even further and create a rotating range of specially fruited editions. This time round we've got five different iterations, including 2 alcohol free options.

On this shipment we have a wide spread from across their production spectrum, including a collab with The Veil, plenty of their famous IPAs, and a large outturn from their unique foeder pyramid Mixed Fermentation program.

Dieu du Ciel!

Expanding the scope of our Canadian project to other provinces, we're delighted to welcome Quebec's Dieu du Ciel! to our list for the first time.

Their history dates back to 1997, opening as a brewpub in Montréal's Laurier Ouest neighbourhood. Their reputation grows swiftly, and in the early 2000s, a larger production facility was built.

Established on the values of Boldness, Integrity, Refinement, and Collaboration, they epitomised the early growth era of North American craft and became globally recognised for their exceptional beers.

Today they continue to innovate, and we're extremely proud to bring their distinctive and characterful beer to the UK once again.

Burdock

Our feathered friends from Toronto are back again after a year of incredible growth domestically. Since our import last year they've added another site with a new restaurant in Kensington Market directly next to their production facility.

Burdock are simultaneously big fans of sessionable beer made for pinting, but also mixed fermentation Grape Ales, both of which they excel at. Wrapping everything up in their distinctively comforting branding.

Our selection this year highlights the best of their offerings on both fronts.

Pickle Waters

A significant benefit of Burdock having the Brewpub on Bloor St, and the larger production facility in Kensington is that they can work at smaller scale to push the envelope of what's possible, allow imaginations to run wild, and take risks.

Lit Pickle and Pickle Water are two runaway successes, selling out within hours of release each time.

Made with genuine Pickle Brine, and no artificial flavourings. Salty, Dilly, Silly, and drinks like a sparkling Pickle Martini.

Blood Brothers Square 2

Blood Brothers

One of the first drinks businesses to set up on Geary Avenue, when they built their brewery there in 2015. They've since been joined by Craft Beer Bars, Winemakers, Cocktail Bars, and Coffee Shops, creating a real hub for beverage enthusiasts.

They work across a wide range of styles and influences, but are well known for weaving interesting adjuncts into beers in a truly structured and sensible way.

The brewery is still owned and operated by brothers Brayden and Dustin Jones. After opening 9 years ago they designed a new brewhouse together, and the business continues to grow at pace.
